I’ll soon be travelling from St Pancras to Angouleme.
In the UK the detailed version of trains.im gives me the timings for my travels.
Does anyone know if there is somewhere I can get similar detailed timings for Eurostar and the TGV giving junction/passing times.
I’m travelling out on train 9022 from St Pancras to Gare du Nord. I’ll cross Paris to Gare Montparnasse and take TGV No 8445 to Angouleme.
My rtn is on TGV No 8522 from Angouleme, and Eurostar 9031 from Gare du Nord.
Any advice re the detailed timings would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Any of the UK train times sites will give you timings as far as Westenhanger (not sure how useful that is to you).

I have no idea of the same data for France is available openly.

Thanks, will try it, but don't think it will give me the detail or the route through France I'm looking for.

That link unfortunately doesn't store the exact page you were looking it as it has timed out. I presume you intend the OP to click on Info Trafic and then enter the train number. This only gives station timing points though.

Here's a summary of the French portion of your journey.

I don't know if you can get the voyages-sncf.com site up in English as I bookmarked it when I lived in France !:D

Sorry Pen Mill I can't get this to give me the intermediate points.

OK , through Google France I 've confirmed that SNCF is now useless in providing the information you're looking for.
However Bahn.de (yes DBS no less !)_ has the information.

I haven't linked it because it will probably timeout as Oscar mentioned re SNCF.

Timings for Train 8445 are as follows

Partis Montparnasee depart 16:04
Poitiers Arrive 17:34
Poitiers Depart 17:37
Angouleme arrive 18:23
Angouleme Depart 18:26
Bordeaux St Jean Arrive 19:35

Timings for train 8522 are :

Tarbes Depart 05:11
Lourdes Arrive 05:26 Depart 05:29
Pau Arrive 05:53 Depart 05:56
Orthez Arrive 06:20 Depart 06:23
Dax Arrive 06:47 Depart 06:50
Bordeaux-St-Jean Arrive 08:04 Depart 08:13
Angouleme Arrive 09:19 Depart 09:22
Paris Montparnasse Arrive 11:33

Thanks for the info Pen Mill
The DB site is very useful.
I have also printed off some A4 maps from Google and marked up the TGV route, so I think I'm covered now. The section around Tours looks good. It's just a shame the open data isn't available for the French trains. Have done the trip from Cannes to Paris, and Lyon to Paris in the past, but not the Paris to Bordeaux line. Thanks for your help, looking forward to the trip.

If you've got a couple of hours to play with it's worth a stop at St Pierre Des Corps (TGV stop just outside Tours) . I used to visit there when I lived in France.
There are 2 very long road bridge crossings to the North of the station which span the freight yards. The one furthest away gives a view over the old loco shed too.
You'll have to use a different train though !

Unfortunately I can't this time, as we're visiting family and staying with them in the Charente for a few days.
Thanks for the info.
