Anyone else seen the big yellow button marked "Get me home" that's now appearing on the mobile version of National Rail's homepage?

First time you use it, it asks you to define where "home" is. And then it'll plan a route from the nearest station to you (determined from your mobile network location) to your preset home station.

I think that's kind of cool, albeit brutally simplistic.

Not bad, just gave it a run out. I'm at home so naturally the closest station and my home station were one and the same.

I appear not to have the Mobile version, since I don't seem to have that. Actually it always comes up as where I am now being being Dorchester anyway, which is near enough.

the NRE app as well as others have been doing this for sometime, rather useful after a night on the tiles and the screen has gone all blurry. :)

* Google, meanwhile, now seems to think i've moved to Yeovil.

Thats ok. Ive been fluctuating between Reading and Aldershot for quite some time now. Not bad given I live in East London.

I get told I live in Chorley when I too live in Preston. That's from Google, NRE once said I live in Salwick but that's only a bit further away from Savick than Preston Fishergate Station whew!
