Hi All,

Well I finally managed to trundle down to Slade Green station to buy my tickets to Ryde next week.
I already knew how much the total was and had no problems purchasing off peak returns to Ryde Hoverport

But what was surprising (to me at least) is the destination stated on the tickets isn't Ryde Hoverport but "Hovertravel"

I am assuming that this means they are valid to Ryde on the hovercraft! (at least I hope so..)
I'll scan a picture in of the ticket in the next couple of days if anyone is interested

Chris

In fact apparently Hovertravel will only accept tickets routed "Hovertravel" (according to the manual apparently) so goodness knows what happens if your ticket is route "any permitted" (yes a handful do exist) and you don't want to use Wightlink.

Anyway I thought tickets on the Hovercraft were to "Ryde Hoverport" route "Hovertravel" I hardly use the hovercraft and haven't done so for a while, but that is my recollection, which sounds like an inaccurate one.
