Wondering the other day about the question where HSTs have been and a few places come to mind in that I have no idea, specifically the valley lines radiating out from Cardiff?

Has an HST ever made it to Pontypridd or further?

I guess Ebbw Vale hasn't been visited either (either in the modern form or in its freight days). What about beyond Tondu to Maesteg?

Ebbw Vale has definitely been done, as I was on it. 03.01.98 Hertfordshire Railtours - The Severn Vales. 43124+137. The only other thing I remember about the tour was noticing people walking the length of the train when we reached Ebbw Vale. I ignorantly questioned the sanity of these people, my Dad and his friends explained it was best to ignore them.

Ebbw Vale has been done a couple of times..... I am 99.9% sure I saw one in the early 90s when I lived on the line.
