57001 at Aviemore and other Scottish wanderings

A trip to Scotland resulted in a photo of 57001 at Aviemore, having worked 'The Royal Scotsman', framed by the Cairngorm mountains:

A stop at the picturesque village of Crianlarich in the Trossachs National Park allowed for a brief visit to the station, at which 156456 was photographed making one of very few daily stops at the station, with the mountains of Strath Fillan in the background:
