The Hayes line in South London currently takes up 4 paths an hour Monday-Saturday from the Lewisham area into London Bridge and Cannon St / Charing Cross (2 each) thereafter. I seem to recall this was the reason given a while ago for the proposals to convert it to LUL Bakerloo line operation, or even DLR from Lewisham. I'm certain the former was a serious idea, but does anyone know what has happened to these ideas, and any other reasons cited (I assume releasing some 376s and 46xs?).
Cheers

Edit - Tramlink conversion could have been mentioned and not DLR, sorry I'm not to sure (hence I'm asking! ).
