I play it but I find it much more difficult than the last fifas 11,10,9 etc. I have a ps3 but struggle to find the time to play it now, I do play online FIFA and have made it up to division 4 by using only Hibs as my online team, recently though because I haven't been playing it I was getting pumped so just never really got back into it. I also play kill zone 3, medal of honour games which are my favourite shooter games. I also play COD but I don't rate it that highly.

For the record I wouldn't say I'm a younger member, even older folk enjoy a bit of FIFA etc. :)

Also that's a very interesting avatar you have there :-/

I love a good bit of FIFA! Not so much into the online mode myself, but you can't beat a bit of FIFA 12 on the PS3 with some mates.

Don't do ultimate team, but for me I always look out for people with 85+ speed, as the way I play relies a lot on having a pacy team.

I take it you don't rely on the wings too much, only having 3 in Midfield but a strong central defence. Personally my favourite formation at the moment is 4-1-2-1-2, so a diamond in midfield with an Attacking and Defensive midfielder.

On FIFA 12, I think the foul system needs work - its pretty much a free-for-all, with the ref letting loads of stuff go, until he flips out at the lightest of touches!

FIFA aside, generally play the likes of FIFA Manager, Railworks, and Traffic giant on the PC.

I play Fifa 08, with Rotherham as my adopted team (the team that I actually support aren't available [Altrincham], so I just randomly picked one). I play a 5-4-1 formation, with the right back and left back tending to join attacks. I tend towards playing patient football with a lot of passes strung together in midfield before playing a short pass into the box.
Aside from FIFA, I generally play the likes of Final Fantasy (VII being my favourite), Pokemon (492/493 owned up to Diamond/Pearl, not played Platinum, Black or White), and assorted simulations (Railworks, OMSI and the like)

I'm not a Fifa 12 player, but I do play Football Manager 2012 - quite good fun, and a bit of a learning curve for someone who doesn't know a huge amount about tactics etc. I play as Arsenal manager and am not doing too badly, with some good new signings - picked up a great young German defender for £1.1m who's gone on to do some brilliant work and put 3 goals in the back of the net.

As for consoles, I'm an Xbox 360 guy - started off with a PS2, but when the time came to upgrade the 360 Arcade was cheaper than a PS3 (significantly!) and with additional upgrade of a reconditioned hard drive, it's a great console. In fact I was recently given a PS3 that my mum had got for renewing her phone contract, but have no desire to switch - so am trying to flog it!

Currently re-playing the excellent Red Dead Redemption and Saints Row the Third, also dabbling with a bit of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and Minecraft on the PC. Got Mafia II for 360 waiting in the wings, along with Driver: San Francisco.

I've completed RDR three times - as far as I'm concerned it's the greatest real world open sandbox game ever made, I'd spend hours on it just wandering around. I've got SR3 but I've struggled to get into it - it's gone a tad too cartoon-y. As for FIFA 12, I play it, but only exhibition matches - I don't have the time or patience for Career Mode etc.

Right now I'm playing Top Spin 4, getting right into the mood for Wimbledon. Just beating Murray 2-1 in the First Round at Roland Garros as we speak.

The foul system, I agree needs more work same with the impact engine. I play defensively because I am not the best player so I tended to let a lot of goals in but a slight tweak of formation to a 5-3-2 I play better defensively

I've fifa on the xbox, downloaded the Euro add on, and have been hooked on the expedition part. Actually makes it non repetitive as the challenge is to defeat all european teams 3 times, each team is in a group of 6. within the group you can only play the teams for which you have unlocked a road between the countries.

Got to agree about Red Dead Redemption, absolutely stunning is the way to describe it. They've done something that most developers fail at in creating a world that feels real, and alive - the wildlife and random character encounters just add to the fun. Bethesda tried similar with Skyrim, but it doesn't work as well - close up the world they created doesn't look half as impressive.

As for Saints Row, I don't find it the most engaging game ever and it is corny - but that's the whole point in many ways. I do enjoy the character customisation side of it, and the ability to completely alter your character at any time. Keeps me amused anyway :)
