I was looking at the Plusbus ticket for Dartford and read online on the Plusbus
website the following :-

Just £1.50 a day during June & July when bought online (from participating websites).

It lists southeasternrailway as the site to buy tickets from but when I put in Dartford (the code given K455 for Dartford +Plusbus doesn't seem to be accepted!) it then says the Plusbus ticket is at the standard price of £3.90

Is this a glitch?

Not sure what other participating websites there are - however RSH does the same.

I know the weather isn't quite what we'd expect for June so maybe the websites are confused and think its March.... :)

Indeed. The participating websites are the ones powered by the infamously awful Thetrainline. The ATOS Origin WebTIS sites (such as SouthEastern) are not participating.

Also, it is correct to enter the destination as Dartford. The PlusBus ticket would be offered as a separate add-on at the next stage.

The web site is quite misleading as if you choose Dartford you get the following information...

Just £1.50 a day during June & July when bought online (from participating websites).
Adult: £3.90, Child: £1.95, Railcard holder: £2.60.
Fares - season tickets:
Adult: 7-days £13, month £43, 3-months £115, Year £420. Child: sorry, no discount available.
Zone map - shows travel area:

Unlimited travel on these participating bus operators:
Arriva (including: 'FastTrack' routes A & B), Go-Coach, Kent Top Travel.
To plan a local bus journey:
call traveline 0871 200 22 33, or visit:

To check participating operators timetables:

www.arrivabus.co.uk/south-east & www.go-fastrack.co.uk & www.go-coach.co.uk and www.kenttoptravel.co.uk
Additional Information:

Travelling to Bluewater shopping mall? Then buy a Dartford PLUSBUS ticket with your train ticket to Dartford station, and catch frequent ARRIVA buses from Dartford bus station direct to Bluewater.
Buy train & PLUSBUS tickets online now from:

www.southeasternrailway.co.uk

Destination code (NLC):
K455 - DARTFORD+BUS

Which implied to me that Southeasternrailway.co.uk was indeed one of the participating web sites - and its not as mentioned in a previous post....

Wonder how many people would get caught out by this!
