Welcome to the forum.

Any tips on the quickest route to Wimbledon from Ashford during the tournament?

Either:

SWT Wimbledon - Vauxhall, then LU Victoria Line to St Pancras, then SET St Pancras - Ashford Intl

or

SWT Wimbledon - Waterloo, then SET Waterloo East - Ashford Intl

The former will usually be quicker, but if you want to avoid the busy Victoria Line tube, then the latter option is the one to go for.

At the end of a day's tennis, I would choose:

Wimbledon - (Thameslink) - St Pancras - Ashford Intl.

It's about 10 minutes longer than the routes above, but has fewer changes and is much more likely to offer to a seat.

Alternatively, depending which Ashford you mean, Wimbledon - Clapham Jn - Ashford (Surrey) [formerly Ashford (Middlesex)].

Please note that the closest stations to the tennis are either Wimbledon Park or Southfields on the LU District line. (next two stns north of Wimbledon itself on the District line). I should check on Google etc as to where you need to go. Assuming you are only going for the day a travelcard should be fine if coming from Ashford Kent. Not sure about the Middlesex/Surrey one.

Assuming you are travelling from Ashford Kent i would recommend HS1 to St Pancras, Victoria Line to Victoria, District line to Southfields where there is a special bus to the all England Club or approx 30 mins slower overall a "mainline" service to Charing Cross, walk the short distance to Embankment tube station (well signposted) and then district line to Southfields
