Poor journalism I'm afraid, the recording is not Boris but a nice sounding female

I thought I heard the man himself reading out that announcement at Milton Keynes tonight. Not 100% sure as my ears switched off as soon as the O word was mentioned.

There was an Olympics announcement at SGB this morning. This was a male voice but definitely not the mayor.

I find it patronising, suggesting I should work from home or videoconference.

Does he advise using a boris bike.

Apparently the Barclays-sponsored bikes won't be allowed in the Olympic park because Lloyds TSB is a major Olympic sponsor.

Its definitely the mayor! Heard them on the DLR and tube tonight. I'm not a fan of Boris but I think this is a good idea as it does actually make you listen to them, with his 'unique' delivery.

It's Boris, been reported at quite a few stations. Poor commuters and staff is all I can say!

I heard Boris at Island Gardens this morning. For some reason we have very few announcements at this station, which makes it very pleasant, but not any longer it seems.

Yep, I heard Boris this morning at Shadwell DLR. It's a nice touch but the problem is his voice isn't sharp enough to be heard over the noise of people and trains.

I heard Boris loud and clear this evening in the Kings Cross concourse. The announcement starts: "Hi folks, this is the Mayor of London..."

The announcements are Boris Johnson. I don't know what's playing on the Tube but on the West Coast we have the following, one for the weeks leading up to the Olympics and then a second (very similar) one for use during the games:

Heard him at Ashford International yesterday. Difficult to make him out, sounds like a very poor recording.

Is this true, please?

Yes

S'why you can only use Visa in the Olympic village, and all that sort of thing.

Remember that at the European Football championships this year, Denmark was fined more for a player showing pants sponsored by someone not on the approved list, than Russia for racism

Sponsorship is important.

Is this true, please?

Yes, there will be bike parking for personal bikes but the nearest cycle hire point will be a good mile outside the Olympic Park, despite having surged eastwards recently..
