Hey all,

Just sitting in my desk at Lincoln, and say a EWS 66 pulling two DB liveried wagons shaped like coal containers, with pipes out the top. Any idea what they where? Something special?? Or just DB painting it's freight fleet?

Are these the wagons you mean? DB Schenker ordered 12 of these a couple of years ago for aggregates. I've seen them in mixed rakes of other hoppers, does anyone know if they ordered any more?

These being the converted HTA Wagons which DB Converted from Coal use to Biomass use, before GBRF got the biomass contract instead.
DB (and FHH) are still gunning for future biomass flows, I'm told!
