Just a thought if I have a ticket for the above and it is scheduled to get into Edinburgh in time for me to get the last connecting train to Falkirk, what happens if the EC Service is late and I miss the connection.

Would they be responsible for getting me back to Falkirk ?

I have purchased the ticket through EC website (Lincoln to FKG)

What ticket(s) do you hold?

Providing you hold tickets that cover your entire journey, and providing it's a valid connection, then yes you are covered.

If you train is delayed by East Coast, it will be themselves who sort the onward connection for you and will foot the bill for any expenses incurred.

The minimum connection time at EDB is 10 minutes, so yes they would have to provide alternative means of getting to Falkirk if you missed the 2333.

Be aware that the "First Class" service on that train is non-existent after the quick run after NCL.
