Games Travelcard Validity

Afternoon all. I know you're not allowed to use Oyster PAYG on the Javelin, but does anyone know if the Games Travelcards being given out with tickets are valid on them? The website only says the airport services can't be used.

Yes, the games travelcards are valid on the Javelin, between St Pancras and Stratford only, when shown with an event ticket.

Ahh, that's brilliant. As great as London Overground is I don't feel like interchanging at Highbury & Islington at 11pm thanks for that.

When I travelled St Pancras - Stratford Int today the barriers were all open at both stations, both early morning and late afternoon. Perhaps the gates couldn't be programmed to accept the Olympic Travelcards.
