I have a monthly TOC issued season ticket. If I want to extend my journey beyond my named station can I do so, if ticket bought before boarding, and does it have to stop at said station?
Conditions of carriage are unclear (to me anyway)

No, as long as only one of the tickets is a season (or leisure travel pass)

Being TOC-issued is not necessarily sufficient. If it is a normal national rail point-to-point ticket then no it doesn't need to stop.

If a TOC issue a PTE ticket then (in general) yes it does need to stop.

If one ticket is a season ticket*, or leisure travel pass, and the other(s) are not the train does not need to stop at the station where they change over, but the combination still needs to cover the entire journey.

*'Season ticket' does not include tickets issued on behalf of a local authourity or passenger transport executive.

If you're going to be vague in the hope of eliciting a certain response, we can't be of much help. We can answer your question in a more meaningful manner if you provide specific details of the tickets you are using.

Season is a monthly Slaithwaite to Manchester Victoria. Same question applies to extending journey through Slaithwaite (only served by Northern) on a TPE train which does not stop.
