"TOX" Tags

this morning, i was watching The Tube on SKY3. this episode showed the graffiti artist "TOX" from back in 2003/2004. i was in london about 1 wek ago. i was traveling along the WCML and saw a TOX 06 tag on a wall. the person who said that he would stop, was mistaken. all the time I'm in london, i see "TOX" tags. it is really annoying. if you see them as well, write on this thread

I've seen as far back as TOX-97 on a class 317 in Liverpool Street.


And BTW, TOX is short for TOXIC (his "tag" name).

There are a number of fake Tox tags as some went up by his "followers" whilst he was being dealt with. I seem to recall someone knew a way to distinguish between the real and fake but I can't remember how it was now. Something to do with the shape of the letters IIRC.

It appears that the TOX currently in use is slightly different, with there being no dot between the X and the year

Hi!

Everytime I go into London I can guarantee I'll bump into Tox! I've seen a couple of Tox07's as well as the older Tox06's. His tags can even be found on buses as well as on the tube trains and tracks. There's plenty of different tags in London but out of all of them Tox is certainly the most consistant! I really don't see how people get kicks out of doing this sort of thing.

The CTRL bridge in Copenhagen Fields now has TOX 07 tags on it. Quite how the culprits got up there without being zapped by the OHLE I don't know.

Also i think it isnt the original TOX himself like someone said, his followers. I say make him do some mega community service or throw him in jail just to make an example. I hate tacky graffiti.

Oh well, some graffiti on the CTRL will make those coming from France seem at home. The approach to Gare de Nord is covered in it, as is most of the French inner city rail system.

The Copenhagen Road area is where the King's Cross Incline - Camden Road line is.

I believe he has been caught he even infiltrated an LUL depot but because they can never catch him in the act the transport police are powerless I once saw a recently refurbed train at Neasden get tagged but they were soon off!

Why do you glorify this sick ignorant person. Who gives a toss what the difference is. Loosing both legs on the track is a difference not to mention the stress to a train operator. If you ignore them they will give up (hopefully)

He most certaintly isn't glorifying anyone - merely pointing out something which has been raised elsewhere - that there is a possibility the recent 'Tox' tags are being done by someone other than the original offender.
