I was given a 'failure to purchase' a ticket notice at Manchester Piccadilly on Friday 15th march. I was travelling from the airport to Piccadilly. The guy was very nice and said I just had to go online and pay the £4.70 fare within 21 days and that would be fine. He gave me a piece of paper with my name, address etc plus the info on how to pay online (he also had a copy of this) but I have lost/misplaced this bit of paper! I was in Manchester for the weekend, I am now back in Ireland. I have no idea where this piece of paper is. Can anyone tell me how to pay online - what is the website or how can I pay my fare now?! Or who should I call? Thanks so much

I assume it was Northern Rail that issued you the notice?

If so, you can give them a call on 0845 00 00 125 (This might not work outside the UK, according to saynoto0870 the alternative number is 0113 235 5050)

Good advise !! all you need is the FTP number try telephoning Northern's CSD department on the above UK number, Northern Audit the FTP notices before sending them to ircas but hears ircas Info line number (UK) 08445 448 458. let us know how you get on and remember to Buy Before You Ride a second FTP generates a Fixed Penalty.
