My dad was telling me there was a chap on a local radio phone in today saying that Lime Street is getting a major refurb getting rid of a lot of the large structures around platforms 1-6. Apparently a lot of signalling work is to be done as well and it will cause major disruption. All services in through Huyton will terminate at Edge Hill and all in through Parkway will terminate at Parkway. All sounds a bit far fetched to me but has anyone heard anything similar.
