Journey is Trowbridge to Swindon but via Reading so wanting to split to save a few bob. Planned itinerary is:

0941 Trowbridge - Westbury 0948
1001 Westbury - Reading 1051
Break of journey then on to Swindon later.

The tickets I'm looking at are:

Freedom of Severn & Solent Rover (already held)
Off Peak Single (SVS), Westbury - Bedwyn
Super Off Peak Single (SSS) Bedwyn - Swindon

It's that last one with restriction code YU(http://www.brfares.com/#!fares?orig=BDW&dest=SWI) that's the issue. It's silent on valid times from Bedwyn. Can I pass through at 1026? Or should I opt for the easy life and pay a few quid extra for the SVS from Bedwyn to Swindon?

I would say not valid as the restriction is worded "trains departing" and your train falls foul at all stations Westbury and before.

Pretty much my reading of it as well bb21. Was after a second opinion.

I'll pay the extra £4 for the SVS. One less pint later in the day!

Enjoy the beer festival - I'll be there on the Friday!
