I saw "Meld" running light engine through Stirling southbound not long ago. First time I've seen a live Deltic in years!

I don't know if the clag will have cleared away yet!

Note that the loco currently masquerading as "Meld" is, of course, "Royal Scots Grey" in reality.

Really quite a turn up for the books that it's now on Royal Scotsman workings! With a Deltic up front it's almost worth paying the price of a ticket.
