Thameslink 387s on LM route

Spotted a couple of Thameslink 387s going through Leighton Buzzard at 1110 today going from Wembley to Crewe it seems. Any idea why this would be happening?

Testing and milage accumulation - it has been going on for ages. Operations are based on Bletchley depot and tend to run Bletchley-Willesden-Crewe-Willsden-Bletchley and repeat

I saw them at Bletchley earlier. The units are 387129 and 387104.

Sounds like it's going to plan:

101 - at Derby
102 - at Derby
104 - commissioning at Bletchley
128 - at Lovers Walk, should be in service this week
129 - commissioning at Bletchley

And Brighton; don't know if it was the same pair of units but this ran on Tuesday.

Currently is still 104/129. Both ate due to be deliveried on Wednesday to Lovers Walk depot. 101/102 should be the final two to arrive shortly until the 387/2 start arriving for testing in October.
