9 car Pendolino.
Andrew's right it's a 9 car 390.
Isn't there a yahoo group that lists all the trains as to whether they're voyager or pendolino?
Also, given that the other poster lives "near Glasgow" it could be a fair assumption that he may have seen it as well!!
If its booked a Pendo, it will say "Class 390 EMU" and if a Voyager "Pathed as Diesel Multiple Unit".
'Pathed' ≠ 'Booked'!
Until December, it ran as a pair of Voyagers.
'Pathed' ≠ 'Booked'!
What's that symbol in the middle?
What's that symbol in the middle?
Does not equal.
All you need to do is look up the train on RTT and look under "Operational Information". If its booked a Pendo, it will say "Class 390 EMU" and if a Voyager "Pathed as Diesel Multiple Unit".
This issue is having to be pointed out time and time again on the Forum
To be fair though, with HSTs, Voyagers and Pendolinos it is accurate, as there's almost always only one type of train.
The issue is where we have Cardiff to Manchester services that are timed for a 158, when they are a 175. Or 142/143/144 Pacers and 150/153 Sprinters.
'Pathed' ≠ 'Booked'!
It was 390 009 today.
If it is a 9 coach one, make sure you sit in coach G as that is the declassified first class coach.
Didn't know this!
Wish I'd have known this in January,...
Wouldn't have been much use then, only since last month has it been in place
