I know Victoria is to be abolished by 2018, but will the current panel 2B be migrating to TBROC fairly soon?
The change in this area was from 15th March. West Hampstead panel 1 (south of Kentish Town Jct. to St. Pancras high level and Farringdon) and Victoria panel 6 (Farringdon to Loughborough Jct.) were recontrolled from Three Bridges. Signal prefixes changed from WH and VS to TWH and TVS.
I thought the high level was still under WH
St Pancras low level and high level platforms 1-4 controlled by Thameslink Core North workstation (TWH) at TBROC and St Pancras high level platforms 5-13 controlled Ashford IECC (AF) High Speed 1 workstation, (I'm not sure if it's one or two workstations for the high speed line).
Getting back to VASC Streaham area which includes parts of panels 2B and 3 will be migrating as Straetham workstation within the current control period is the best I've got out of the management so far.

Speaking to some colleagues toady that will be affected by this and they said no consultation has yet been proposed for the move, but it could as early as autumn this year or as late spring next year. But if anyone knows for sure it's certainly not the signallers at the moment.
Some corrections, Farringdon to Kentish Town is controlled by Core Central, Core North panel isn't in use yet.
Basically the changes are
West Hampstead panel 1/WESTCAD is now Core Central
Victoria panel 6 is now Core South
West Hampstead panel two (Kentish Town to Elstree-ish, can't remember the handover point) will become Core North.
Canal tunnels until the junction with the ECML is controlled by Core Central.
Thank you for the corrections, I was working from information recieveved when the the TMS working group had our meeting in the ROC before any commissioning.
That's cool. I was curious where Core North was myself so I asked the Core Central/South signallers myself. Quite an impressive set up really.
I take it that it is the empty workstation in between what is now "The Core Central" workstation and London Bridge Central workstation country end? Which were told was going to be the St. Albans workstation.
Yes I believe that is Core North panel. Although makes more sense the other way around as Core South and London Bridge will interlink.
I was told that they want Core south, Charing Cross & Cannon Street workstations close to each other as they will need to be able to talk to each other if and when (if ever) they use the slots to allow the classic and the ETCS signalling to use what I will term emergency links. (Although I was told they were still working on how they were actually going to do it).
Stupid question?! Do the signallers do all panels or not. I mean do VC and VS or just one

There is a Central VC link and a separate Eastern VS link with no crossover between the two rosters. But from when Victoria ASC opened and up to about 1994 the signallers used to work around all the panels, but this practiced ended beacuse of the special rulebook brought in for the running of the Eurostar service thus cutting down the staff that required training in it once the box was split into two links.

I'm currently working on the training simulator part of the for the Victoria Phase 2, Stage 1 Streatham Workstation project (re-signalling/re-control to TBROC).
Dates on our contract are currently:
Simulator installed for use: 20/01/2016
Final Commissioning: 03/05/2016
So definitely not sooner than then.
Stage 2 will see the implementation of a second workstaion to be catchily named 'Sutton-Wimbledon-Mitcham'. Dates currently unknown, but later for sure.

I'll get back to you on the boundaries... From memory (as i don't have it to hand) the two stage areas are split at Tulse Hill on the Portsmouth's and Norbury on the Brighton's.
These projects are a deviation from my normal role in Traffic Management...
Announcement on de-scoped TM will be made now in August. The scope is now TM interfaced Thameslink Core with ETCS/ATO, with optional components for TM interfaced for all London Bridge 'inner' & 'outer' workstations.
So Thameslink, and the Sussex Route getting what investment there is. All this is the position immediately prior to the election result I should add!

Be interested to know/see the pod layout plan if possible?
i just got a job at London Victoria Signal box on the South Central side will they be moving to Three Bridges??
Almost certainly within a few years. The only real area of doubt is the intended timing, which changes month by month.
Three Bridges will be the sole ROC (Rail Operating Centre) for the entire 'Southern' network (including Thameslink through the core and as far as the MML and ECML interfaces).

ROC is to control far Bedford on the MML under latest plans. But changes so often but it already controls St Pancras high level.
I thought York ROC will signal from west hampsterd northwards
