Anybody know how long this is likely to last?
Thanks.

You may have seen that the TfL website isn't specific, saying:

Tower Hill Station: Entrance ticket hall improvements will start to take place from April 2015, when the ticket office in this station closes. Work will last for up to three weeks.

The ticket office will not reopen when work is complete.

To pay for travel, you can now:
. Use your contactless payment card
. Use the smarter ticket machines
or
. Buy tickets or top up your Oyster card online or at nearby Oyster Ticket Stops.

That's from http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/stop/940GZZLUTWH/tower-hill-underground-station/

Not sure if that's the same thing. I'm talking about the diversion into the entrance via the Tower of London underpass steps where instead of going down steps you now go down steps, along and then up steps.
Just wondering.

Ah, right. No doubt someone will be along soon to shed some light on the matter. :)

I asked TFL this very question as it's a pain. I commute from Tower Hill daily. According to TFL the work(which is to install lifts, hence the diversion) was supposed to finish this month. But it's been delayed and won't finish until July 2016 at the earliest.

Thanks for that. Delayed over a year! It's a very minor pain for me too travelling against the hordes.
