Leicester - Eastleigh Cavalcade

Yesterday evening this service ran from Leicester Depot (having come down form Barrow Hill/Derby RTC) to Eastleigh for onward working to Swanage:

It was late off Leicester and then seems to have ground to a halt at Wigston.

The service was a GBRF 66 with covered nameplates ( ) a green 37, 50035 "Ark Royal" (Looking fantastic in blue), 45060 "Sherwood Forester" & 56006 looking very nice in blue

0O56 departed Leicster late due to 'Train Prep' - this likely translates as issues attaching the additional loco and preparing for departure.

Main delay (Leicester - South Wigston) was due to an defect on XC 1P24, with 0O56 stood on block awaiting movement.

To add to the fun 0Y45 (yesterday's forward portion from Eastleigh) was a late start due to an operating incident!

Cheers! We on 1B66 passed inside the stock movement at Wigston and I assumed IT had failed.

They Should go back to Eastleigh and then to Didcot tomorrow.
