This came up as an option when I was looking to purchase a trip to Edinburgh Park earlier today.

When I touched it to choose it (out of interest) it came up with something along the lines of "no fares available". So, I just went and bought the usual Edinburgh Park ticket (and once more cursed the lack of a through ticket to Edinburgh Airport with tram connection).

What was/will be an "Edinburgh Tourist" fare?

There IS a through ticket to the Airport on the tram from on all ScotRail priced flows.

Origin: Edinburgh Park
Destination is EDB APT BUS/TRAM

SDS - £6.00
SDR - £11.00
CDR - £10.00

It's impossible to buy that ticket online, and the only TVM that sells it (in my experience) is actually at the Airport.

To add a little more info, I tried a TVM at a Scotrail station and only Edinburgh Park and Edinburgh Waverley came up.

Edinburgh Tourist is the name of the TVM situated funnily enough at the Edinburgh Tourist Office.

It is possible to buy a through ticket valid on the train to Edinburgh Park then the tram to the airport from an avantix machine or any booking office, although, not from any TVM AFAIAA. See here.

Somebody may know if it is possible to buy from the airport TVM though?
