Hi all,

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/R01426/2015/05/12/advanced

Is the above diagram likely to be a single Freightliner Class 66 travelling light or something different?

Assume it will be a/some Freightliner 66(s)

Top one I'm most certain would be a DBS 66, looks like the Doncaster-Warrington wagonload. Second one, don't know if that ever runs (without investigating), would guess would also be a DBS 66. Hopefully someone will be along shortly to confirm ;)

Thanks, Sam

Correct - only ever runs MWFO through - not Tuesdays.

Thank you!

Just noticed this: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H10240/2015/05/13/advanced

Seems to be a loop from Jeremy Hoskins' LNWR site... any ideas what its for?

Also, this one from Neville Hill...?

I'm aware both don't seem to be running tonight but just interested to know

THanks again for all the help!

First one, would be a test train, possibly the Network Rail New Measurement Train (HST set) https://www.flickr.com/photos/sboot...oEq-fkoVpp-fg39gb-rJuY7a-r4XkNd-eToS2k-bT3JbZ
Second one, DBS 66?

You already asked about that train in your first post! ;)

It's one (of many) trans-Pennine freight paths which are not
used/needed these days, I'm afraid.

Other than the occasional one off wagon moves between Crewe and Leeds,
the only regular freight workings via Huddersfield at present are
6E33 Warrington to Doncaster and 6M30 return
, DB-operated
wagonload/car trains which run three days a week.

Cheers!
Are HSTs cleared via Hudd? Can't see why they would be, they never go that way...

Don't know, but then again HSTs are never used down to Cleethorpes (they regularly visited on through trains to London until 1992) yet the NMT visited there in July 2013
