I have to commute to work for a week before I move over to Harrogate.

Is it possible to combine the use of a Metro Card (£22/week for me) and a season ticket for Horsforth to Harrogate (£31.20/week) for this journey? I've found doing it this way would be the cheapest but I'm not sure if it'll be frowned upon.

Cheers for any help.

Yes, as the metro card (or M Card) doesn't 'count' as a season for clause 19C.

Do you need to use the bus? If not, would a zone 1-5 and 6 ticket be better?

So there'd be no problems then?

Thanks for your help guys!

The other direction to go in could be a week bus ticket from your local bus operator then a zone 1-5+6 metro card

Yes, if it's First then they have a cheapish weekly ticket for the Huddersfield area.
