Can any shed any light on this service: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U51587/2015/05/19/advanced

It must be a special of some sort (Northern Belle?) but it seems to have dropped off the radar near Maccelsfield and not been seen since.

Has it conked out? is it a mistake with RTT?

National Rail Enquiries 'Live Departure/Arrivals' currently (1108) shows two expected arrivals from Manchester Victoria.

One shown as due @ 1200 is 'Delayed. That is shown as a 0715 from Manchester.
The other is shown as due @ 1201 and 'On Time. That is also shown as an 0715 from Manchester.

Can't see either in Realtime trains London Victoria arrivals.

EDIT: A search on Realtime Trains doesn't show an 0715 departure from Manchester Victoria to London Victoria at 0715 this morning.

And showing 'Less detail' on DarloRich's link results in

'Info: this service does not run in passenger service. For more information, go to the detailed page.' Is that what one would see if it is a special?

The thick plottens!

1Z55 was worked by 57310+312 this morning.

The Network Rail data feeds which 'power' RTT went down around 8am this morning,
so it could simply be that the train was not picked up again when the feeds were
re-established?

It definitely made it through Stoke - I saw it at around 08:30, IIRC.

I too saw it pass our house (between Reddish South & Ash Bridge) sometime between 07:30-07:50, and it was moving at a fair rate of knots too! (Just caught the last 3 coaches and rear loco)
