April 23rd was only 2 minutes late, April 2nd 1 minute.
Rest was all at least 4 late, many even 10+.
Maybe they will apply the Belgian solution at some point, and just change the timetable to include a 10 minute delay. ;)

For this train to be late so many times there had to have been a problem with timetabling of this train and as shown in the Nick and Margaret's BBC programme with the Virgin Trains Shrewsbury service there is no quick fix when it comes to changing the time table.

I believe this train was on time today, with the extra padding and removal of the Wivelsfield stop.

Not to mention that the train was treated like a VIP special and other trains were kept out of its way to the effect that if you were a commuter from East Grinstead then you were right time Selhusrt and then 10 late at Victoria (was the worst effected) just to give it a clear run.

And today, thanks to an engineering problem, it appears it didn't run at all from Brighton, departing from Gatwick instead.

Broken track just around haywards heath tunnel, Down line. SB closed from 06.45 until around 09.30. then 2mph limit imposed for a while. Caused some delays and still ongoing.

Down Line blocked again for repairs. SIMBIDS in use (1H26 Down service on the Up Reversible in the Tunnel). Significant delays expected until around 1800 (well...). Also disruption to Northbound services currently at Crowborough due to a failed 171. So by no means just the "least punctual train in Britain" affected.

I was on the 15.46 Victoria - Ore and ended up 65 late back at Bishopstone.

I'm not one to name-drop, so I won't mention I shared a compartment with David Dimbleby.
