Hey guys....

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone got any of the 319 Traction related material in pdf format? or other format that can be read on a laptop or iPad?

I've been looking, but cant seem to find anything so thought there might be a few drivers lurking around in here that might be able to help

ATB

There are .pdf's available , but I think you will find it hard to get hold of them unless you need them for a official reason.

I would have thought, if you're a trainee driver, asking your instructor would have been a logical place to ask rather than an online forum?

My 319 course was basically an extension of my 455 course as they are similar so all I've got is loads of A4s of handwritten notes and diagrams. I never saw an actual 319 manual.

I always thought they were similar, does that apply to 317's as well?

Not sure I'd be keen to give stuff away online or offline, don't know who's watching and how they would view it.

My 317 course was a conversion from 315s so yeah pretty similar, same with 321s which again is a very minimalistic conversion! Pretty sure OP is a TL trainee to put people's minds at rest!

i can only speak of 319s, 456s and 455s when it comes to mk3 EMUs but there are basic similarities but the tractor motor package and the obvious AC equipment are quite different. AIr systems are very similar with just a few things with different names or in different locations on the train.

Hello guys :)

Should have reworded it I think :)

Ok, yes, its for official stuff, I am about to do the 319 Traction course, and I thought I would get ahead of the game and do some reading before it starts, so no, I have not asked my trainer for them, I thought I would show some of that driver initiative and skillset, and ask in a place that Drivers frequent that one might be able to help me but your right, you never know who your giving it to, so I will wait for the trainer

Cheers anyway guys, if you don't ask, you don't get ;)
