I would say busy parts of the day are commuter times when the METRA trains run every few minutes,there are also about 14 AMTRAK trains actually booked to pass the camera but there are lots of empty stock AMTRAK reversals add to that a little freight. I have screen captures pictures of some if they would help. I think i would need your email address to send them.

As you will have no doubt seen over the last couple of days, we have been back to Crewe Heritage Centre and finished off our project there with the installation of cams 3 and 4.
Crewe Cam 3 is a fixed wide view of the entire Crewe Heritage Centre site, which also takes in the Chester Line to the left and the WCML to the right. As well as picking up all the goings on at Crewe Heritage Centre, this cam will also double up as a security measure, especially after the two trespass incidents we have picked up this year on Crewe Cam 1. Crewe Cam 3 will be available to all Railcam members, as well as being featured directly on the Crewe Heritage Centre website at www.creweheritagecentre.co.uk
Crewe Cam 4 is another of our ‘all singing, all dancing’ PTZ cams, identical to the cams used for Crewe Cams 1 & 2. This enables us to remotely operate the cam and point it in any direction we want, giving us the ability to look both up and down the WCML, as well as picking up both the up and down Crewe Avoider lines that drop underground to avoid sending heavy freight through Crewe station. We have also picked up the delightful miniature railway running at Crewe Heritage Centre on this cam, with its rather soothing ‘clickety-clack’ Crewe Cam 4 will be available to Railcam Supporters ONLY, more information on becoming a Railcam Supporter can be found below.
The install of our cameras at Crewe has been a big job, and we have thrown more money at this project than we have ever done before, but from the reaction of our members we believe it has been well worth while. Railcam is entirely donation funded and installs like this could not be done without all the kind donations made by our supporters. Every penny that is donated is put back into the site, covering everything from hosting and streaming costs to purchasing and installing new cameras. As a thank you to those who make a donation of £10 or more, we have a package of perks we give in return which include extra cameras at some of our site (including Crewe) and our extensive Live Signalling Diagrams, which allow you to track trains, signal by signal, as they pass through the railway network. RAILCAM ON THE SETTLE TO CARLISLE
Railcam are delighted to announce the first in a series of cams along the world famous Settle to Carlisle Line, in association with the Friends of the Settle to Carlisle Line (FoSCL).
Our first installation comes from one of the most recognisable locations along the line, Ribblehead Viaduct. Mounted at the beautiful restored Station Masters House at Ribblehead station, the cam offers us panoramic views of the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct.

The Settle & Carlisle Railway Trust has beautifully restored the Station Master's House at Ribblehead, and it is now ready to take holiday guests.
The house offers excellent accommodation for those with an interest in the railway, the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and the three peaks country of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-Y-Ghent.
With 7 trains calling each way on weekdays and Saturdays its well connected to all the
Settle - Carlisle Line Stations.
Future installations along the line are planned for the next month or so, at Settle, Kirkby Stephen and Appleby, giving us a superb coverage of this beautiful stretch of line. Sadly with the situation as it is with West Coast Railway Company, we dont expect to see too many railtours in the near future, but as many of you have, we have our fingers crossed for a quick resolution to this issue and a resumption of steam hauled charters across the Settle to Carlisle very soon.
The Railcam on the Settle to Carlisle project is jointly funded, installed and maintained by Railcam and The Friends of the Settle to Carlisle Line, and will feature on both websites. Kirkby Stephen railway station serves the town of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria, England. It is operated by Northern Rail, which provides all passenger train services.
The station is nearly a mile from the town at Midland Hill and was formerly known as Kirkby Stephen West because of the older Kirkby Stephen or Kirkby Stephen East station that was situated in the town and was on the North Eastern Railway's Stainmore and Eden Valley lines. It closed (along with all the other stations apart from Settle and Appleby) in May 1970 but reopened by British Rail in July 1986.
The station is leased by the Settle and Carlisle Railway Trust, which comprehensively restored it in 2009. The main buildings now incorporate a caretaker's flat, offices and the Midland Room, opened in July 2011, which includes a cafe and exhibition of items related to the Settle and Carlisle railway.
Potentially two future installations along the line are planned for the next month or so, giving us a superb coverage of this beautiful stretch of line.

Can you,or anyone tell me where the Sanquar cam has gone to? Has It gone for good? Cannot wait to see Kirkby Stephen cam but that seems to be offline at moment. I`m on IE11 if that helps.

Everething OK with Kirkby Stephen cam.
Sanquhar Cam is offline temporarily as it has been knocked out of position. We aimed to have it looked at yesterday but due to the terrible weather our man was unable to get up the ladders to have a look. We expect it to be back online shortly.

As a I am a webcam member is there any recorded footage you can point me to of 1M11 passing through Crewe at speed as I am always 99% sleeping by then , I did rise one morning to view 1M11 but on that occasion a northbound passing freight block my view.

There Is a new Dawlish Webcam(no sound though) and its called the Blenheim Cam. Very good cam, pity there is no sound. I didn't know Dawlish could be so quiet!!!!! The original cam is now called San Remo Cam,with sound.
RAILCAM CAMDEN JUNCTION
We are delighted to announce our latest cam installation, Railcam Camden Junction.
Utilising another of HIKVisions PTZ cams, similar to those used at Crewe, we will have the ability to set numerous preset views on one cam, giving us the option to view all the running lines and stabling sidings, and there is plenty of them!
The cam is situated close to Camden Junction, just south of Willesden T.M.D. and is overlooked by the famous Camden Roundhouse. The main running lines through the section are the WCMLs final run into Euston, the mainly freight used access line from the WCML to the North London Line, and a selection of EMU stabling sidings, used by London Midland for their Class 350 fleet.
Various freight and passenger services will pass the cam, including the usual WCML Virgin and London Midland passenger service, and our first look at London Overground. The daily Caledonian Sleeper services will also feature, including some classic AC traction on the ECS moves. Numerous freight operating companies will also pass, to and from the North London Line, with a mixture of both diesel and electric traction to look forward to.
Railcam Camden Junction will be a SUPPORTERS ONLY cam. The purchase and installations of these new PTZ cams, along the ongoing maintenance and streaming costs, runs into the thousands over the year and we only feel right that those people who take time out to donate to the continued running of Railcam are those to benefit when we launch new, high cost, cams. No, not that I am aware of.
The closest you will get to those locations are Camden Junction and Ilford, both on http://www.railcam.uk/site/.
The latter is currently broadcasting as the 'Special Bcst' cam and is in testing, it also doesn't continuously look at the running lines. Both also require a donation for supporter access in order to be viewed.

This cam is puzzling me, I can't find any Oustecke station on google in the Prague area.
I have used the name the webcam host uses but the station name board on the platform on the right seems to be at least a two syllable name although I cant make it out,

Cheers for that, also a great cam.
More a webcam for the highway, but it has a 4 line railway east of Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Zuid to the north and east of the Netherlands in the middle. It can be moved if there is an accident close by. Between 17 and 18 hours i count 47 trains; yes also to Leiden, but as no train starts or ends in Schiphol all trains pass the webcam.

Thanks to grah2702's link I've found a couple of great cams. The first one sits over the throat of Prague station and also includes the audio from the station announcements. It's a busy station and there's also English announcements. Plenty of Pendolinos too.

This second cam is on a tram that travels the roads of Prague. The quality is amazing and I'm impressed with the tram network around the city. I've been 'riding' the tram for a week now and even been doing a bit of tramspotting on my journeys around Prague. I wish there was something similar in the UK where we can follow a train or bus ride around our network.
