A little bit late as it was on tonight but is available on iPlayer for a while. Features some of the work being carried out on Birmingham New Street, demolishing part of the old Pallisades building to create the new atrium that is covered by the huge new glass roof

Last week's edition is worth a watch - it includes a long segment about the demolition of a certain large blue eyesore at Battersea...

Yeah, that one was quite interesting too

Actually the one before (the first in he series) had a rail link too as it was the removal of an old railway bridge from a disused line. The bloke who ran the operation was also quite a character :D

I missed that one - only spotted the series last week.... still, it's BBC so hopefully it won't be long before the series gets repeated anyway.

Thanks for this guys. I often miss what's on TV, but catch up on stuff when I read about it.

FYI all 3 episodes so far are available on iPlayer.

Glad to be of use :)

I believe there may only be 3 episodes in this series - tied in with a 3 episode run about British Airways

The Beeb come out with these fly on the wall documentaries now and again. I really enjoy watching them as they are brilliantly well made. I found it to be along similar lines to the equally brilliant ' The Railway: Keeping Britain on track'. Very specialised documentaries that trumpet a particular field. You can bet if there is a demolition forum on the go they will be posting about it just now!
That said, I would love to know if they are planning a second series of the railway.

There was a review of the last of the Demolition series by a Telegraph journo - essentially berating it partially as it was very matter of fact and didn't deal with the so called emotional side (such as the bloke whose wife had left him) and someone walking around New St with a decimeter. Not sure about you but I found the whole thing in the format it was very good - don't need all the emotional junk in these kind of programs!
