Long time lurker, first time poster. So hopefully this is the right forum
I put my first delay replay in last week since Southern became part of GTR, previously there was the option for e-vouchers or national rail vouchers (exchangeable for cash), but seems to be only national rail vouchers now.
Although printed on the same headed paper the biggest change seems to be Southern based the calculation on 10 journeys per week (520) + additional return journey every 4 weeks (further 26) making total of 546 journeys per year. However Southern (GTR) seem to base it on 520 journeys a year which means my 30 mins delay is now worth an extra 20p
Also looking at other parts of the GTR franchise, Thameslink seems to want the accompanying letter presented to exchange national rail vouchers for cash, where as Southern doesn't seem to list that requirement.
Are these expected changes?
thanks
Andy
