In one of the more dramatic moments on last night's Eastenders Ian presented Liam with a one-way ticket to Devon. It was an Anytime single from Paddington to Plymouth and was priced at £53.50.
Whilst others reeled at Ian's descent into subterfuge I was left thinking "that seems a bit cheap". And a subsequent visit to BRFares.com confirmed mu suspiscion. £53.50 was the Super Offpeak fare, the Anytime should have been £129.50.
Without this forum I would never have questioned the fare, and my children would still be talking to me.

Rail Settlement Plan? Gosh, the TVMs at Walford Overground must have a load of stock in the back rooms. ;)

The RSP has gaps in between it, the price doesn't say how it was paid and the machine/window/location in the top right has too many numbers (IIRC it should be 10, Office/Machine/Window)

And the font ;)

I'm not allowed to point things like this out any more. My Wife shouts and throws things at me if I do.
