Are there any double decker bus routes in Cornwall?

Also is there an affordable day ticket valid on multiple operators?

I have a spare day in Cornwall and have done every railway line multiple times so would like to explore new areas.

A Ride Cornwall is valid on most operators (also on trains)

U1 & U2 are definitely double decker routes, using E400s

I don't know about any others specifically, but I know that First kernow have a lot of Olympians & Tridents

Are there any double decker bus routes in Cornwall?

Not only are there double decker routes in Cornwall, some of them traverse the most unlikely roads. Helston to the Lizard seems straightforward enough, but the buses divert off the main road to serve Mullion via Poldhu Cove on little more than single lane roads, while some go via Ruan Minor which involves a three point turn in Ruan (they have to come back out the same way to the main road).
On holiday down there last year we curtailed our coastal walk at Mullion Cove due to my blistered feet, walked up to Mullion for a bite to eat and then took the bus from Mullion to Poldhu Cove. It ran out of fuel half way, blocking the road to anything wider than a small saloon. Luckily, there was a mobile phone signal from the top deck, if it had been a single decker the driver would have been incommunicado. As we had stopped right over to the left against the hedgrows, the only way out was the offside emergency exit, which the driver was at first reluctant to let us use on Elf an' safety grounds.

Other services are a bit of a lottery - 10, 14, 17, 18, 57, 86 - all operate double deckers regularly, so you should find them easily enough with a bit of patience

Only just in Cornwall, but I believe the 81 group services from Plymouth are generally decker worked, plus involve the novelty of riding a double decker bus aboard a ferry over the Torpoint crossing think the only other place that you can do this is the Sandbanks ferry in Dorset?

Other services are a bit of a lottery - 10, 14, 17, 18, 57, 86 - all operate double deckers regularly, so you should find them easily enough with a bit of patience

Not valid on Go Cornwall as yet, its reportedly in the pipeline though.

At present only valid on the trains and First buses.

Double Deckers are the majority of 2 services and also majority of Truro - Newquay 91,92,93 services.

The 0900 Redruth to The Lizard is always a double decker as the incoming service from Helston is a school/college service, and a look at the 37 timetable will tell you that double decker rotation for the day. The other 37 rotation is normally a single decker.

The 2 does tend to be deckers and is a rollocking good trip into Penzance from Helston

A "school/college service" was mentioned earlier but it's not term time. I could start at Redruth or Truro from approximately 10.00

Excellent, I phoned PCB about 2 weeks ago and they told me not yet, but was work in progress.

I have seen a lot of 14/18s but all have been single deckers.

Majority of 14s are B7RLEs.

Penzance to Lands End are open top, 300 is normally open top.

17B is always a decker (the one that goes via holiday parks, the other 17s were all single deckers when I was in St Ives last week).

Penzance to Falmouth is always a decker,
Newquay to Padstow I've only seen decker operated.
about 75% of Truro to Newquay routes are decker operated.
the 37 at 0900, 1300 and 1700 from Redruth are decker, these are the 0759, 1128, 1528 from Helston. The other services can be either single or double deck. This is a very scenic route as it gets towards the Lizard. Newquay to Padstow also very scenic.

U1 and U2 Falmouth to Truro/Redruth are always Enviro 400 operated, they have a contract with the Falmouth university these services are always decker operated with an average vehicle age under 5 years.
