Help! I booked an advance single from Nuneaton to London for the 0735 Virgin service. I now need to travel on the 0708. I assumed (wrongly) that I could simply log into Redspottedhanky, pay an upgrade fee and change my booking. However it says that there are 'No available delivery methods available'? Why can't I simply pick up the amendment with my original ticket? Is the only option now to upgrade at a station?

I expect so. Is it convenient for you to get to a station?

Not until tomorrow morning, that's the problem. I can't understand why it's so difficult to upgrade online and collect amended tickets from the machine?

It depends on who you book with and which company you travel with.

For example booking on VTEC for a VTEC journey, it would be no problem.

You could try telesales if you can't get to a station.

My understanding with RSH is that you have to make the change early enough for them to post you the amendments either first class or special delivery. They cannot send the amendments online or to a machine.
