Anybody know best place to get a seat plan for the VTEC EMT set now the "view your seat" option has disappeared for bookings on the 17:19 Kings X to Hull?
I did find one online but it can't be 100% accurate as, for example, it showed seat 69 in coach D as "airline" style whereas in reality the seat is "table".

Anybody?
Would be nice to have some idea where the booking system has deemed to stick me when I book my tickets.

May have missed it but when was this announced? Seems a stupidly backwards move...

It's only for one service. Original post edited now.

Oh well. I assume that such a seat plan doesn't exist. Bit of a pain really.

How different is the set to a standard EMT set? Would the seating plan from the EMT website not apply?

Coach C/D seem totally different. Seat 69 is marked on their plan as "airline" whereas on the VTEC set it's table. Seats 73 and 74 are shown as "table" whereas in reality they are "airline"
In first class seat 5 is shown as "table" but the VTEC set has it as "individual".

You could try this but I have a feeling it was for the EMT sets that EC was hiring in rather than the one that has been added to their fleet. I think the EMT set they now have has been changed from the usual EMT layout by removing the luggage racks in the middle of carriages in favour of more seats hence the mismatch in plans.

Thanks for that. The layout is similar but a lot of the seat numbering is totally different.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I'm not aware of any other seat maps unfortunately :(
