Web pages or apps showing real time train info

Hello, I hope this is the correct place for this. My 5 year old is getting really into his geography & is keen to learn, He also loves his trains so I thought the best way to keep him keen would be to use the UK rail network, I have the usual apps that show what time the train is due & when it left the last station but wondered if there was any pages/apps that show exactly where they are so we can follow them through the towns & cities?

This is a link to RailCam. They have diagrams covering a large part of the UK, as well as live cams at various locations, some free others you have to sign up for and make a contribution. This way you get to follow the trains on the diagrams and see them at various points.
