Anyone got any idea why DRS would run what looks like a road learner from Crewe to Peak Forest, Dean Lane, Hope the back to Crewe, today, tomorrow and Thurs?

To learn the road? ;)

Seriously, if you mean this light engine move (real headcode 0K63),
it's actually a Freightliner working.

(66413 worked it yesterday, which is a FL loco, not DRS)

Thanks. I was looking across the valley and the livery looked very DRS to me. It was certainly blue without big GBRF lettering. If 66413 is blue that solves it. If 66413 is FLL green/yellow then it was definitely a different working.

Sorry, I should have been a bit more clear in my previous reply - even though
66413 is still in DRS colours, it is operated by FL these days:

Obviously, you wouldn't have noticed the sticker in the front
if you saw it side on from a distance! :)

Thanks for that. That will teach me to get my hopes up that DRS were getting involved at Peak Forest. (Dreams of Buxton mineral water or powdered lime which goes nationwide from there, by road of course)
