When it says "This restriction code does not apply on the following dates/days:", does it mean the ticket is not available or that the restrictions associated with the ticket do not apply on the dates ?

Similarly what is the interpretation of the eased dates ?

It means that the restrictions associated with the ticket don't apply on the dates listed.

It means the restriction is eased on the date ranges listed.

This is one case where it really does mean what it says. That said, the official text at NRE doesn't list the dates.

:o

So...
Do any routing restrictions still apply ?
And is there any difference between a restriction not applying and being eased ?

Originally I was just assuming the tickets simply weren't available weekdays, but an easement allowed them on certain weekends.

Unless specifically listed on the restrictions page, then yes.

If you look at the NRE page for code BE the restriction doesn't apply on Saturday or Sunday. It is additionally eased on the dates that you listed in your post (they are weekdays so it should apply).

I may be misunderstanding what you have said, but what the OP has quoted means that the (time) restrictions do not apply on the specific days of the week stated for the date ranges given. So, for the date ranges given the restrictions do not apply on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. I believe that the information is written in this way for the benefit of booking engines.

And if you believe that NRE page you can even use these tickets in the morning peak

Super Off Peak Day Travelcards are valid at any time where journeys are wholly within London Zones 1-6.

Quite possibly, as I didn't write it as clearly as I could have. I was trying to explain the difference between days when the restrictions don't apply (weekends) and days when it is eased (the weekdays listed).
