....NR + BM + GC : Same as the first, but allows travelling via Warrington Central (not sure about via Eccles to WBQ)
NR + MA : Same as MA, but allows for travelling via both Warrington Central, as well as via Eccles to Warrington Bank Quay
NR + RM + PG : As the second, but once again also allowed via Warrington Central....
None of these allow travel via Eccles.
Although there are other tickets (such as a London-Ashton-under-Lyne "via Manchester" one) which would allow this at no extra cost, if cambsy doesn't need specifically to have a London-Manchester ticket.None of these allow travel via Eccles.

....There are quite a lot of tickets in the area for the same price off peak, so if there's a particular route cambsy would like to take, there probably is a ticket which will allow travel from London to Manchester using that route.
I'm not exactly what point you're trying to make here.Stalybridge maybe, I can see a point of view for Ashton, but to be honest I think it's a pretty flimsy one with no benefit over Stalybridge.
I don't think there's anywhere in Greater Manchester (or Merseyside, for that matter) which has a higher off-peak fare to London than Manchester Stations has. There are plenty of other routeing points in the area. Not convinced about that either, most stations in the area will use Manchester as the Routeing Point.
