Just had an email saying get away for the weekend from your door to Durdle Door for £15 return. Unfortunately if you travel to Wool the nearest station to Durdle Door the bus back has left before the bus there has arrived and there is not another until Monday so a £15 day return offer is not going to work. Maybe they should check these thing before using them as a catchy advertising item.

What's wrong with taking a taxi from the rank outside Wool station? The target demographic for these adverts probably wouldn't be seen dead on a bus outside London

Once you start getting taxis it rather undermines the concept of a £15 bargain.
Mind you, Durdle Door is well worth a visit.

Even with the taxi cost, it's still a reasonably priced day out, especially if there's more than of you.

Precisely.

Buses are not that cheap, especially if there were more than one person.

Bus service to Lulworth and Durdle Door can be described as "patchy" in the best of times that I can remember, and that was back in First Southern National/First Dorchester days.
