I was at Smethwick Galton bridge waiting for the Wolverhampton to Walsall service and whilst waiting I saw two trains take the Galton junction from Birmingham new street towards Smethwick west/Stourbridge. I can't see these trains on real time trains. I wondered what these trains were. Any help?

What type of trains/class were they ?

It may well have been one of the Hereford trains being diverted. There have been some signalling problems between Droitwich and Bromsgrove this morning and a common diversion if necessary is to route the train via Galton Jct. and Stourbridge (necessitating the cancellation of Uni and Bromsgrove stops).
