The Somerset in Autumn event will feature an intensive timetable, with services over the whole 23 mile line, worked by a host of steam and heritage diesel locomotives through the beautiful autumn colours of the West Somerset countryside. There will be plenty for both the family and serious railway enthusiast to enjoy. Variety is definitely the key, so come along and see just what is on offer...
• Gala locomotives...
The following locomotives are rostered for action over the course of the event
· SR 4-6-2 no 34046 Braunton
· GWR 0-6-2T no 6695
· GWR 2-8-0 no 3850
· WSR 2-6-0 no 9351
· BR(W) 2-6-2T no 4160
· Class 47 no D1661 North Star
· Class 42 No D832 Onslaught
· Class 33 No D6566
· Class 14 No D9526
DMU
Please note: not all locomotives will be working every day. All engines are subject to availability
