Hopefully they'll do a feature on Crossrail, even if it is a boring topic.

On the whole I enjoyed it. It passed an hour.

Presenters looked very uncomfortable live though.

I'll be watching tonight.:D

Theyve already done a mini series on it and not really much more to be said till it opens now surely? Unlkess you want them to talk train lengths and calling patterns ;)

I've not 'spotted' a 125, but I've just booked a ticket on one during the programme to get into the spirit :D

Sadly almost unwatchable.

Snow looking at one of Gresley's products enthuses over a "Black 5".

Apparently mail trains are the most unpredictable on the network!

And so it goes on. :(

Is it just me or is that "Live" image in the corner imitating the old station signs the wrong shape? The narrower, taller oval is more like a rounded rectangle.

Peter Snow resembles an elderly pterodactyl with Alzheimer's. His ignorance is remarkable. One would have thought that the BBC might have briefed him a bit before putting him in front of the cameras. Instead, he seems to be totally perplexed, no doubt wondering when it will be visiting time.

If the general public ever had any doubt as to the mental instability of train spotters, it will have been decisively resolved by this series.

Tim just said that DB Schenker have Class 37s. Two mistakes there, but I'm not fussed because the show has been pretty decent.

First clip of the HST segment was an airborne shot of the APT

I must admit that I'm enjoying todays epsiode more though, even though it's still shambolic.

We also had 3 guesses on the age of the HST, forgetting that Kenneth Grange is still alive and responding to someone saying they had just seen an HST by saying "well I hope you see some 125s"

I'll wait until tomorrow to watch it so I can fast forward through the crap.

There isn't actually any trains in service on the show, its all static displays and talking about signals and such.

The title of the show is misleading.

They're stood next to 43002. Are you watching the same programme as us?

So you've not watched it but you're criticising it for what you think it's about? There are plenty of moving trains.
