Afternoon all!

I'm looking to travel up to Liverpool from Euston in the next few days, previously I've done this on a London Midland Only fare, which is about £30 as opposed to the Virgin fare which is much higher (albeit a lot quicker!).

I can see that the fare still exists on BRfares, however the London Midland site has now been 'snazzed up' so I can't find the option to travel by London Midland only in order to plan my journey. National Rail isn't much help either, selecting 'London Midland' as the operator just brings up Virgin to Stafford and then LM the rest of the way.

Does anyone know of a site that could help me plan this?

Many thanks

I'd suggest using a better website to buy the tickets from, such as Transpennine Express's, which still has the interface that LM's used to. If the fare doesn't show up initially, clicking on Show Me on the left will allow you to select the ticket you please

Alternatively, as the services in question don't have seat reservations, and the ticket is the same price when booked on the day, you could plan your journey with a more usable website such as brtimes.com if simply looking for times, or fastjp.com if seeking itineraries too; and then buying the ticket from a ticket machine on the day

Ah - the Transpennine Express website does it perfectly, allowing me to select LM services only. Thanks for that, I've also bookmarked the others as no doubt it it only a matter of time until that one is 'optimised' as well!

Many thanks again

Fastjp.com always works for me, lets you select which operators you want to allow/disallow.

If you want to buy a ticket rather than just view itineraries (which FastJP.com is best for), try https://uk.sleeper.scot/ - at the bottom under the "Continue" button select Additional Options, then "Show only journeys for" and select LONDON MIDLAND in the drop-down list. That's coming up with lots of cheap LM-only fares for me.

Another for my Favorites, thanks!
