Aye, I was like "WTF? Since when do 37s sound like THAT?!", read the description and all was well. The 37s came out sounding bloody brilliant still mind, the left arm shot out in a flail at a speed I've never seen before! Nearly knocked my mug of tea out of my other hand!

Looks like it was well worth getting up and out early then Dave, I wish I could have been there. On the other hand, maybe it was a good thing I was still in bed, I'd have been bellowing a lot and potentially ruining the video!

I saw the 37s leave Shrewsbury yesterday, though I only managed to video/photo them leaving the siding ("platfrom 8") as by the time they came charging down the other side of the station towards Crewe Junction the train I was on was departing (the 37s were running a little late). Still, here's my video of them leaving the siding on the 8th...

Cheers guys :)

Personally David I'm going to wait untill you can get both runs in daylight, the livery isn't really a night time livery.

MegaGrr, I had planned on making it for that so I could make my earlier bus home. Mind, it might have been uber late and meant me missing it anyway!

Oh well, not a rare route or owt but would have liked to claim Hereford off 57315!

Nice shot. Could do with having the colour levels tweaked a little, and maybe brightening the sky up a bit too. But that's just me being picky

Top shots as usually Mr D. You got some good locations on the Cambrian.

Cheers mate :)

Sure have, pity the sun didn't play ball for the the shots at Picnic Island and on the bridge, but we can't have it all :(

I'm hoping for a Type 3 appearance during next Sundays engineering blockade too! :D

Nice shots there of 37069 over Barmouth Bridge, you can just imagine the lovely noise off her reverberating off the hills.
