As an aside, it's always a bit of fun when you suddenly find a roadside relic from days gone by. Especially operators who disappeared some time ago.
A mate of mine lives in Market Harborough where you can still find a Midland Fox bus stop (!) and local to me, I know of four original Badgerline flags and some of the later 1996 era Badgerline F ones.
There's the odd First Western National reference at St Ives bus station but wonder if Western National survives anywhere else?

I'm pretty sure that no open-topper has been out and about in service in Penzance for the past week, so I hope all speculation about their continued use into late Autumn/ early Winter has been quashed.

Have seen a dd Coaster.liveried closed top on 2 b4 but not an open top. Yet ! Shame as always thought it would make a good OT route.
University bus MMC 33474 was on the 14:05 T1 service from Truro bus station to Penzance bus station and a Atlantic Coaster Trident was on the 16:10 85 service from Truro to Newquay
As there often will be at night (see earlier posts!)Another Atlantic Coaster Trident on the U4 today - haven't seen a 'correct' bus on the service for a few days now, not that I see every journey of course. A short Optare (unable to ascertain the livery) is on the A17 tonight.
The 14:00 U4 service from Penryn Campus to Penzance (Penwith College) on Thursday actually had a Blue MMC on it, last Tuesday the 10:05 service from Penryn Campus to Penzance had an East Lancashire Lolyne on itAnother Atlantic Coaster Trident on the U4 today - haven't seen a 'correct' bus on the service for a few days now, not that I see every journey of course.
