Did I hear correct of the rumours that the Glasgow sleeper on Easter Sunday is going into Queen Street High Level via the ECML?

Certainly it is departing Euston earlier than normal (21:39)

(Sorry if already mentioned before in this thread)

Why was it diverted from LL back to its old route? And how did any passengers from Fort William to Glasgow get there?

Engineering work.

From the Caledonian Sleeper service alterations page:

Sunday 26th November 2017
Fort William to London service
Due to engineering work, this train will not call at Glasgow Queen Street. Guests travelling to Glasgow Queen Street should alight at Dalmuir for replacement road transport.

Not got a clue mate. They are fully covered in the loco department tonight though.
No worries - assuming it was for operational reasons, would've meant 018 was spare in Scotland and 043 + 90045 spare at Euston - as you say, fully covered; unlike how it was a few weeks back...!

Despite the date (April 1st) I believe the rumours doing the rounds are not wholly inaccurate...
Any idea of the proposed routing - via Falkirk High I presume? Are the platforms at GLQ long enough for 8+2?

Looks like I'm just too suspicious for my own good! I was initially curious about the mention of Sunday (there's no sleeper arrivals on Sunday), but I guess they were meaning the Easter Sunday departure arriving into GLQ on Easter Monday.

That is what I meant, the departure on Easter Sunday arriving into Scotland on the Easter Monday, my bad for poor English

There appeared to be a 92 stuck all alone at what I call platform 16.5 at Waverley last night (16.5 being a terminating track between platforms 16 and 17 with no platform) which was there at 6pm when I arrived and still there at 10:30 when I left.
014 on the front, coluldnt see the full whack as a train was sat beside it but it was in full CS livery.

Thank you; it's always quite interesting to see what is working which one.
To complete the picture for the other services:
1S25 (Down Highlander) - 90016
1M16 (Up Highlander) - 92014
1M11 (Up Lowlander) - 92010
1C11/1B26 Carstairs portion - 92033 (as @Scotrail84 says)

Glasgow ECS - 87002
Euston ECS - 86101 (and 92043!)

North of Edinburgh diesels:
Inverness - 67012
Aberdeen - 73966
Fort William - 73967

92018 is the other one - it's been in Waverley since Saturday morning.

Unusual formation on 1C11/1M11 tonight, 2 seated vehs on 1C11 and looks like no lounge either. One seated veh will be DIT bound for Wembley. That may change though.

I understand the Glasgow Queen Street portions will be Load 7 and ACLG hauled (86/87) due to platform length.

What work is taking place on the WCML/Glasgow Central area which is forcing the diversion into Queen Street High Level via the ECML anyhow?

Might be my final farewell to the old stock (or "hello" to the new stock) that Sunday night from Euston to Glasgow

It was suggested resignalling work in the Rutherglen area.
