Hey mate. Well done for making it through to the interview stage. When did you apply for this role?

Can anybody who has got through to an interview confirm whether they were notified by phonemail or email?
I have 'invite to assessment 2 pending' showing for one of the signaller positions I've applied for and so am hopeful I'll hear something soon regarding interview date.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and have found all the comments really useful. I have applied for a position at the Abergavenny box and have passed the tests. My application is currently under consideration. Do you get informed if you are not suitable for an interview?

Hi is this (below) the content of the email that is sent when status changes to under consideration? Only i got sent this way before Xmas, the day after doing the tests actually, but my status stayed at Test Completed till this week. Just wondering if the delay to changing the status was due to Xmas etc and I have actually been "under consideration" for quite a few weeks now?

Thank you for recently completing an online assessment for the above position
I am pleased to advise that you have reached the required benchmark on your online
assessment and your results will be held on file for 12 months.
Your application is still under consideration and you will be contacted by email shortly with
an update.
Yours sincerely

You could be waiting from a few weeks to a few months it really is that varied.

Good luck, lovely little SB on a great line.

Thanks Tom. The advert did say they were hoping to interview the week commencing the 15th Jan so I am feeling like it's not meant to be this time.

Hi all.

Been following this forum for a while without posting so thought it's time to throw my hat in the ring.

I recently applied for the Three Bridges ROC role and had my interview this week.
Quite an intense and long Interviewing process but came away thinking I had giving it my all which is all you can do.

Anybody else here apply for the role?

Was told it would be about 2 weeks before I'm advised if I was successful or not but I know it sometimes takes longer.

Would I receive a phone call or just keep my eye on the website for any updates with my application?

I didn’t notice that....it only closed a week to so ago didn’t it?

Unusual to openly state a recruitment timeline, shame they can’t publish and stick to on on all jobs.

Currently 2 posts being advertised in the Shropshire area on a 12 month fixed term basis. If your successful, pass Signaller school and work the 12 month contract, what happens then? Can you be moved anywhere they need you? Or are you expected to apply for another signaller position?

I would suspect you'll be offered another 12 month contract, since I doubt any of the Shropshire Boxes wll be closing that soon.
Does it say which Boxes?

Thanks for replying. It says Shrewsbury in the location section at the top of the advert, and then further down it just says the Shropshire area. Think I might sit tight and wait for a full time position to be advertised. I’m really waiting for something in the Worcestershire or Birmingham area ideally.

Do they state what Grades the vacancies are? That might give a good idea of what Boxes they are in.
